Tour of the German-speaking Alps
15 June 2010 — 7 July 2010
Phil Sung
Piaw Na, Lisa Wong, Kekoa Proudfoot,
Cynthia Wong, and I went on a self-supported bicycle tour of the
German-speaking Alps (really, mostly Switzerland). Cynthia, Kekoa, and I
stayed in Europe for about three weeks. We lost most of the first week due to
rain, and had to slow down for another several days as all three of the men
got sick (with varying degrees of misery). However, we got in some excellent
biking and hiking, and overall it was a lot of fun.
Stats: 496 miles biked (47,073 feet of climb), 33 miles hiked (13,879
feet of climb).
